My card reader is losing battery power
To save battery power, set your card reader to sleep mode when temporarily not using your card reader. Press the power button to turn your device back on again.
Make sure that your Solo card reader has the latest software version installed.
Enable “Auto-lock” by changing the screen timeout period.
The Solo card reader will automatically shut down if the device is in sleep mode and not used for 2 hours.
You can also manually enter sleep mode. To enter sleep mode, press and hold down the power button on your Solo or 3G card reader, and then choose "Sleep mode".
We recommend you connect your Solo or 3G card reader to only one connection type and disable all other connections when not in use.
My card reader is not charging
Check that you’ve connected the charging cable correctly to your card reader.
Turn off your card reader and then turn it back on again.
Check your device is running on the latest software version.
Is your Solo card reader charging from the cradle or Solo printer? Disconnect your Solo device from the cradle or printer and plug the charging cable directly into your card reader.
If your card reader is still not charging, use a compatible USB-C charging cable if the original cable doesn’t work.
If your card reader is still not charging, you may need to get it replaced if it’s still within the warranty period.
