Set up optional extras

  1. Open the back office either via a web browser or the POS Pro app.

  2. Expand the "Products" menu in the left navigation bar and select "Options".

  3. Click "New option" to create a new optional extra.

  4. Add details, such as a name, pricing info and tax rates and select a category it belongs to. Categories are used to apply optional extras when creating items.

  5. Click "Add" to save.

Return to the "Options" section and select an optional extra to edit it or use the X symbols beside optional extras to delete them.

Categorise optional extras

The extras you can select at checkout are decided by the categories optional extras are added to. Use "New category" to create new categories for extras.
