Manage product categories

  1. Open the back office either via a web browser or the POS Pro app.

  2. Expand the "Products" menu in the left navigation bar and select "Products".

  3. Click "New category" to create a new category.

  4. Add category details, such as a name, a default tax rate for products in the category and a default printer for products in the category.

  5. Click "Submit" to save the new category.

You can edit products to change the category they’re in.

Deleting categories deletes products too

Deleting a category also deletes all of the products within that category. Be sure to move any products you don’t want deleted.
